Experienced workers face disruption
A mid-career professional cannot simply erase fifteen years of work and start over. Their judgment, relationships, and knowledge still matter. The missing piece is a credible bridge into the work that is growing.
A workforce-transition project
SkillSiftr is being designed to help mid-career U.S. professionals move from roles disrupted by generative AI into the implementation, governance, operating, and transformation work that the AI economy needs.
The transition being researched
The problem
AI is changing sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and other knowledge work. At the same time, companies need people who can apply AI inside a real organization. Those are two sides of the same transition.
A mid-career professional cannot simply erase fifteen years of work and start over. Their judgment, relationships, and knowledge still matter. The missing piece is a credible bridge into the work that is growing.
Knowing an AI tool is not the same as changing a business with it. Companies also need people who understand customers, risk, workflows, and how change succeeds or fails inside an organization.
The proposed model
SkillSiftr is being researched as one connected transition, from understanding where a person can contribute to helping the new role work in practice.
Start with the person's existing experience and identify a specific role where that experience becomes more valuable with AI.
Close the real skill gap for that destination instead of sending everyone through the same broad course.
Work with employers so learning connects to actual work and a qualifying position, not only a certificate.
Support the worker and employer through the early months, when a promising move must become sustained performance.
What exists today
I am speaking with companies about how AI is changing their work and what they need from people who will help implement and manage that change.
I am using those conversations to map destination roles, understand the missing capabilities, and design an end-to-end transition model. SkillSiftr is intended to launch in the future, with Austin, Texas as its planned base. It is not yet accepting workers or employers, and it has no completed placements or published outcome claims.
Why it matters
It keeps experienced people contributing, helps companies adopt AI with better judgment, and gives the United States a deeper pool of people who can turn new technology into useful work.
Preserve income, identity, and hard-won experience while moving toward work with a future.
Develop operators who understand both the business and what responsible AI adoption requires.
Turn workforce disruption into domestic capability for implementing, governing, and operating AI-enabled systems.
Why I am working on this
I founded and built FunnelBud, helped teams change how they sold and served customers, trained people into larger roles, and worked directly with AI inside B2B workflows. SkillSiftr brings those threads together around a larger workforce problem.
